Forest View's professional reputation has been developed through 18 years of experience in the treatment of Eating Disorders. Forest View provides services for children, adolescents and adults struggling with anorexia nervosa (self-starvation) and bulimia nervosa (binge-purge syndrome).

Treamtment Team
The treatment team provides services and addresses co-existing psychiatric disorders such as major depression, substance abuse and trauma disorders. Eating disorders treatment is provided as an integrated part of general adult and adolescent inpatient and partial hospital treatment programs.

Clinical Programs

  • Acute Inpatient Treatment is for those individuals whose behavior has placed them at serious risk due to medical complications and for those who are suicidal or self-abusive. Patients receive treatment on the inpatient unit which is staffed 24 hours per day.

  • Partial Hospitalization is available for patients needing significant structure in order to control eating behaviors. Many patients transition from inpatient to partial during their treatment. Patients attend programming 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday while residing in the community.

Who's At Risk?
The more warning signs a person has, the higher the probability the person has or is developing an eating disorder. If you think you or someone you know has an eating disorder, please call and talk to a mental health professional who is prepared to answer questions and provide information.
